Pastured Beef
Our certified Angus Beef is pasture raised and of superior quality, fresh from our pastures to your plate. Healthy and nutritious.
Cattle are herbivores and are at their optimum health when free to eat grass. We allow our cattle to do just that. At this point they are also supplemented daily with grain grown here on the farm. The grain not only allows us the opportunity to get closer to the animals, it also gives our meat a unique flavour.
We NEVER use hormones or antibiotics on our cattle.
We do not finish our beef, and it is naturally aged for 21 days. This means that our cattle roam free until their processing date and are NEVER sprayed with chemical preservatives. We believe this, and our commitment to ethical treatment of our animals gives them a superior taste over other meat.
A little Education:
When a cow is allowed to feed on grass, the beef contains more Omega 3 Fatty acids. We can’t eat that grass, but our bodies benefit from Omega 3. So when cattle are pastured in fields that are ‘useless’ to farmers, we all benefit.
Our beef when cooked does not shrink so your ‘pound’ of beef remains a pound.
