I LOVE knowledge and the power it gives a person to make informed choices. Below I have added a few links to help you become better informed about food in North America and how it affects your health. The first site I LOVE is POLYFACE FARMS . This is the farm Adam and I want to become. With your support, over the next few years we hope to offer the superior product this farm is able to give people. We found polyface farms after watching the moving FOOD INC. This movie CHANGED OUR LIVES and how Adam and I look at farming.
Are you interested in making better choices but are not sure where to start?
One of my first and favorite videos that began my journey digging deeper into the food/health connection is a video called “Is God Stupid?’ It is one video of MANY that Sean Croxton from Underground wellness put together. I urge you to check out the video. Then watch the video ‘Sugar the Bitter Truth’. The original video although packed with science is slightly long. Sean also does a shorter version for people like me who have a short attention span.
Shan Larter, a disordered eating coach also has some GREAT videos on You Tube. She is the reason I was able to kick my sugar habit. Her shakes are out of this world, however don’t take my word for it. Check her out. If you don’t think an eating disorder applies to you, check her out anyway. You may discover that you are more addicted to certain foods than you think.

A few close friends of mine are also on a journey to better health and my good friend Kirsten created her own website featuring amazing recipes that are centered on REAL FOOD. She also does some great research on her own, and her blog about juice convinced me to stop feeding it to my children.
